Deep Sea Fishing with Capitan Omar


Puerto Escondido is recognized all over the world, as one of the best places for practicing Deep Sea Sport Fishing.
All year round, you have the opportunity to catch Swordfish, Marlin, Tuna. You can start tackling the fish only 15 minutes off shore, in water as deep as 1500 feet, where these species can be found.

We supply all of the fishing gears all the fishing gears: Rods, lures, baits, gaffs, and we also provide for the Penn International fishing gears. The boat has a top, so you can stay in the shade, chairs, VHF, GPS, and all security equipment required by the Capitan del Puerto.

DOLPHIN WATCHING.
An adventure that you will never forget.


During the winter months, November till March,is the season when we have the occasion to watch different species of Dolphins, and occasionally dome Humpback Whales. It is an attraction to see them navigate from Northern California as far as south Peru. Some day we can admire as many as 2000 dolphins traveling in the Pacific. It is an exciting experience to see them jump and follow the Ecotour Boat.
Aboard "LA GITANITA", an Ecotour boat of 33 feet long with a capacity of 30 seated persons. the captain will take you for a deep sea tour that will last between 3 and 4 hours, toi show these beautiful species.
As far out as 8 to 10 miles ( nautic ) there you will see them swim in their natural habitat, happily jumping and playing. On board, there is an hidrophone, to hear how they communicate amongst themselves. On the way back to shore, there is also the opportunity to see some nice sea turtle, and for those of you a bit more ambitious, you will have the chance to dive in and swim amongst them.

About Captain Omar
Born and raised in Puerto Escondido. His passion for the ocean started growing when he started navigating by his father's side at the age of 10. It has never stopped growing.
Since then, later he started working as an assistant-captain till he reached the age of 18 years old, at which time, he became an appointed captain. With his successes, his passion became his career, which he intends keeping for many years to come. He also has lots of interest in "Catch and Release", like he says, today's release, may be tomorrow's catch. As a professional guide in Ontario, Canada, for 4 months a year and here in Puerto Escondido From November till May, he has acquired the reputation of a very well known captain and intends keeping his reputation for being a friendly and secured captain.
